Quick and dirty film grain effect

First of all, I think I’m done with daily blogging.  It’s too stressful, and I still post pretty often, so don’t worry. It becomes a problem when I have to post every day though and all I can come up with is lolcats. I’ll try posting some development related things soon. I’ll also be cleaning up the blog again at TVBs suggestion.

Now onto some game stuff.

It’s a zombie shooting game! Of course I’m going to add film grain! It makes things more gritty!

Daily progress updates. Oh hey it’s 2011!

Hey! Its 2011! Looking back on 2010 all I can see is failure. I didn’t get any of my game projects off the ground, and my engine is still in development. But hey, at least my house didn’t catch fire… (*looks around cautiously for any spontaneous fires*)

New Years Resolution

I figured that if I’m going to make a blog post each day, it should probably be about my current game project and research. Not to mention that my mom is still paying my bills, and is constantly asking me how that game’s doing and when it will be finished. I’ve told her to check my blog, but honestly it doesn’t lay things out well enough.

Attempting daily posts, Color Pickers, and other stuff

I’m not sure that I’ll always have something that’s awesome to read about, or that I’ll even be able to make posts daily, but I’ll try. I figure it shouldn’t be too hard, seeing as I check FGL, GMail, twitter, facebook– and every other service hourly.

As far as the game goes, I’ve just changed the minimalcomps color chooser to use this batch of swatches stolen from Flash CS4. Feel free to use this image!
